Senior Pastor: Kathleen Rinear

In her previous calling, Kathleen taught college composition, critical thinking, and business writing at colleges and universities in California, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin. She also administered a writing proficiency testing program and a college writing center.
Called to ministry as a second career, Kathleen has served small, medium and large congregations in the Southwest and Northeast Wisconsin Associations of the United Church of Christ. She received a Certificte in Spiritual Guidance from the Sienna Center in Racine, WI. In addition to being a pastor, she is an avid reader, singer, storyteller, gardener, and quilter.

John serves BCC as a part time consulting pastor to assist the leadership and senior pastor in areas where they discern special needs. John has served congregations in New York, Illinois and Wisconsin for over 40 years. He was Assistant Professor of Ministry and Technology at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary.
John is an amateur winemaker, sometimes writer and devoted lover of all things "outdoors.". He is an avid cyclist and dreams of one day doing the Ride Across America tour.
"My life's bible verse is, "The joy of the Lord is my strength," (Nehemiah 8:10). C.S. Lewis quipped, "If there is no joy in your faith, there's a leak in your Christianity somewhere!" When we are authentic as a church, we are a place of profound joy.
Administrative Assistant: Sue Hrobar

Sue Hrobar has served BCC for 11 years as Administrative Assistant. She is the "voice" of BCC when you call and the person many people first meet when they come to the church. Sue has keen interests in the Arts and serves on the Wisconsin Conference UCC Arts Committee.
Children's Learning Programs: Angela Graf
Angela
Graf has been the Co-coordinator of Children's Ministry for BCUCC since
2007. She has been a member of BCUCC for 11 years and volunteered in other
capacities such a church school teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher,
nursery volunteer, Fellowship board member, Christian Education board member
and church council representative. Angela is a Wisconsin certified teacher
who taught 3rd grade in Elm Grove before staying home with her three
children. Additionally Angela has a seat on Brookfield Soccer Association's
board, is a Division Director for U6 soccer, and serves on the PTO board at
Burleigh Elementary. She keeps busy with her children's sporting events,
volunteering in their classrooms, attending various exercise classes,
gardening, and loves to cook - when she has time!!
Children's Learning Programs: Becca Hughes
Becca
Hughes is co-leader of our Children's programs, B.L.A.St. and GRAPPLE.

· I was a kindergarten teacher for MPS before I decided to stay home with
the kids.
· Eric (my husband) and I love to take the kids camping.

Director of Music: Gary McWithey
Gary
is Music Director and organist/keyboardist. He has served the music
department in various capacities at BCC for more than 20 years. Gary has
played organ & piano for a number of churches in the area since his eleventh
year. If you love organ music, you will enjoy one of the finest organists in
Wisconsin.
When Gary isn't making a joyful noise, he can usually be found in front of his computer, reading, toiling at his regular position as operations manager for a local tour company, or enjoying music performances of many kinds.
Director of Choirs: Jackie Oakes
Jackie
Oakes is our Director of Choirs, talented vocalist and keyboard musician.
She studied at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and is Principal Cellist
with the Menomonee Falls Symphony Orchestra. A part of her work includes
directing the Chancel Choir, Handbells, Handchimes and special musical
selections with children.

When Jackie is not engaged in her activities as Director of Choirs she spends time riding her horse Lilly and winning ribbons!
